Please Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer

Welcome to my Personal Page! The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation is a cycling journey along the majestic Canadian Rockies, that I'm embarking on to fight cancer.

As with everyone invloved we ride for our own personal reasons with one common goal in mind, To Find a Cure for Cancer. During my three years as a team captain I was witness to tears of joy, tears of sadness and stories of why people do the ride that at times were so heart wrenching that I found myself fighting back tears.

After three years as a crew team captain (what a great experience it was) I have decided that it is my turn to don the cycling apparell and partake in the two day, two hundred km ride. I dedicate my ride to my sister, my sister inlaw and my sons mother who fought a valiant fight only to lose the battle. I also want to dedicate this ride to another of my sisters and to my brother who not only fought but won this battle. From all the above family members I gather inspiration that will carry me on my two day journey.

I will train, I will not stop, I will ride to end, to the finish line and beyond because I can and will for those who so dearly require yours and my donations to enable the cancer researchers to continue their work.
